Steve Ellis of MyGreenBuildings met with Congressman Vern Buchanan (FL-13) at the Capital to discuss the relationship between “sustainability” and “economic development for small businesses” in Florida’s 13th District.  According to Ellis, the sustainable "Green" building practices play a substantial role in solving some of the regions ills of late – namely the slowdown in the building industry, higher insurance costs compared to other markets nationally, skyrocketing fuel costs, and dependence on foreign oil. - June 4th, 2008
